Our client, a leader in system innovation, has an outstanding opportunity for a highly capable Senior Software Engineer to join their talented team. The purpose of the position is to manage the development and enhancement of information systems and products.

To be successful you will have highly developed experience in the planning, development and implementation of medium to large applications. You will be a confident communicator with sound experience developing technical specifications to business requirements and have demonstrated project delivery skills. You will be a problem solver with the ability to conceptualize and drive innovation. Naturally you will possess strong knowledge of enterprise architecture, applications development methodology and SDLC. Demonstrated programming skills in C++ and Java is essential. The main focus currently is on a server web-application written in Java that is running on an Apache Tomcat server.

Technologies:

• Backend: Java 8, Spring, SQLite, Apache Tomcat
• Frontend: HTML5, JavaScript, Angular, Angular 2 and Web-sockets
You will need C++ experience for two standalone Windows applications currently in production.

Technologies:

• Visual C++ (VC9), STL, MFC, SQLServer 2008 R2
