I become Australian citizen recently, after staying here for 7 long years.
Now, I have got one ICICI resident account in India. As all of you may already aware that from starting 1st Jan 2018 it is mandatory to link Aadhaar number with all bank accounts and failing to do so would cease the account.
The choice then left is to convert my resident account to NRE/NRO. I have home loan, insurance and many other things set up against that account so I want to keep the same account.

Now, I'm not so sure if above requirement is possible in the first place (keeping same account). If someone has done it in past, can you please answer to my doubt which is very helpful.
